Make Desktop Launcher on Ubuntu 11.10

If the shortcuts in Windows can be spelled out, in contrast to previous versions of ubuntu, ubuntu at 11:10 is not provided the facility to create a desktop launcher by default, if using an earlier version, we can live right click and "create new desktop launcher". To make it at 11:10 ubutu must install the application and make the launcher via the terminal.
Just takes the following two commands to make it, make sure there is an internet connection on ubuntu you.
(Install app)
sudo apt-get install - no-install-recommends gnome-panel
(run through the terminal)
sudo gnome-desktop-item-edit ~ / Desktop / - create-new
tips: most newbie problem when creating a launcher, and many have entered due to root first "sudo su", you should not get root first, but the write command to create a complete launcher, from sudo.
