Change Linux Command
The basic commands that need to be considered, is the "which" and "cp / mv"
For example, here I will change the command "ls", which serves to view the contents of a directory, a "list", which has the same function.
First, we locate the directory where the command
$sudo which ls
hence, will produce
#/bin/ls
now copy that directory and the same place, and change the "ls" to be different.
$ sudo cp /bin/ls /bin/list
or if you want to change it permanently, just rename the "ls" command with
$ sudo mv /bin/ls /bin/list
Now the test, whether the newly revamped command goes well, quite so.
